Invoices in Monographs separate phases into fixed fee and hourly sections by default. This allows for better transparency with clients on what they owe for hourly phases.
However, this separation has the potential to create overly long invoices and limits the ability to display additional information, such as if the hourly phases have a budgeted cap on spending.
To solve for these challenges, Monograph has a new "Combined" layout option for your invoices.
With this setting enabled:
- All phases will be grouped into a single section with a customizable header regardless of fee type. Invoice template options will update on the side menu as well once selected.
- Hourly phases role breakdowns are optionally able to the added to the appendix
- Hourly phases with max cap budgets are optionally denoted via asterisk with a customizable explanation
