Monograph's newest feature allows you to create project budgets automatically from external documents.
Leveraging AI technology, this tool will extract phases, budgets, roles and rates from contracts, proposal documents, and/or any other written PDF that has all of this data available.
How it works
1. Upload file
When you create a project, you can select to "Auto-generate project from contract". image
2. Extract details
After uploading a file and entering basic details about the project, Monograph will attempt to extract the following project budget details from this document using an AI technology provider:
  • Phase names
  • Phase duration
  • Project total and phase specific budgets
  • Roles and rates
⚠️
The clearer these details are on the document provided, the more successful the extraction will be.
We recommend making sure phases are listed in a clearly structured outline or table with relevant details or directly in document headers. Details we cannot determine may be assumed from past projects at your firm.
3. Review budget
You will be asked to review the extracted details and confirm them before proceeding with the project. At this time, you can make modifications to the extracted project budget before assigning team members.
