Improved project budget planning

We have updated the ways in which project budgets are configured to allow you to better manage your projects after setup!
Improved project setup
When creating a new phase you will be prompted directly to add your team members to the project. To minimize clicks, once you have set up earlier phases on the project you can copy from any of those to avoid needing to select team members, roles and rates as you go through the setup process.

After assigning team members, Monograph will evenly divide out the budget on fixed fee or max cap hourly phases to ensure each team member has a starting target for how many hours they should work that you can then edit. Whenever you edit these hours, they will automatically be rebalanced in your staffing plan, excluding any manually edited weeks.
Note: Fixed fee phases now require a budget to be set. Use an hourly phase if there is no budget specified.
Embedded Staffing
All of this data will feed into your Staffing plan. Grow subscribers will be able to see a snapshot of their past logged time, future staffed hours, and whether or not they line up so you can come in on budget. This information is visible on the left side of the project overview and links directly to Project Staffing so you can directly make changes as needed.

New project reminders
The improved budget setup process will help you minimize the risk that your projects are missing key data vital to help you stay on track. If you are missing information, such as team assignments or maximum hours budgeted per team member, you will receive a reminder both in your list of projects and on the budget itself.
